American Pie

"There's something about your first piece." American Pie introduces us to a new generation of the teen sex comedy, giving us the very funny Jason Biggs, the always hilarious Eugene Levy, the cute Alyson Hannigan (from Buffy fame), and of course Seann William Scott also known as "Stifler". And...let's not forget m.i.l.f., which was made famous by this movie.

American Pie follows a typical plot; four high school guys make a pact to have sex on prom night and each take a different approach to make it happen. Of course, each of the friends also "grows" in the process and they "mature" to a certain degree, there are situations that arise that are hysterical, especially the scene with the pie.

Even though American Pie isn't "reinventing the wheel" with its plot, it does stand above the rest of the imitators. It has no problems in the laugh department and is sure to please anyone who enjoys this type of movie.

I'm going to give it an 8.5 out of 10. There's nothing new in terms plot, but that doesn't mean that it doesn't offer new ways to entertain. Enjoy!
